Welcome to Novacon
Novacon is the UK's longest-established regional science fiction convention, held every autumn since 1971. It's built around a single-stream programme mixing both literary items and more informal events, with deliberate emphasis on social contact between sf fans and genre professionals. Our Guest of Honour: John Meaney
Novacon 41 was delighted to welcome British science fiction author John Meaney as our guest of honour. All members received a limited-edition souvenir chapbook written by John. Visit John Meaney's website Our Venue
We moved to a new venue in 2009: The Park Inn, 296 Mansfield Road, Nottingham. NG5 2BT. Centrally located, it features 172 modern bedrooms, wifi, two bars, a restaurant, plus extensive function rooms and leisure facilities (including a spa and swimming pool). Visit the Park Inn's website
